I’ll end the week with one more image from my shoot at the Bradstreet School.  As I mentioned yesterday, much of the school remains in fairly decent condition, while other parts are less well-preserved.  This sink I discovered in the boiler room was certainly one of the more grungy parts of the school, but I’m thinking that it may have looked this way even when the school was still in operation.

Either way, it made a nice photo subject, and I decided to try a different composition for this shot.  Instead of centering the faucet, or trying to capture the whole sink (it was deep in a corner which would’ve made this difficult), I chose to include some of the green wall surrounding it while maintaining the focus on the faucet.  Experimenting with different things is what keeps this stuff fun, right?

Have a great weekend.

Nice shot, Steven. That faucet and sink looks to have seen many years of service.

Love the detail and textures in the faucet Steven.
